Our talented executive team took a road trip last week to Battcon, the annual stationary battery conference and trade show, held this year at the Hilton Bonnet Creek Resort in Orlando, FL. The event featured presentations, panels, workshops, and trade show offerings from many prominent battery manufacturers including BAE Batteries USA, Emerson Network Power, SAFT America, and GE Critical Power.
Included in the week-long event were three seminars: Battery Basics, Advanced Topics, and Focus On, each featuring two industry specialists. Additionally, there were three audience-driven workshops geared toward a different segment of the stationary battery industry: telecommunication, utility, and UPS. This was a great opportunity to meet other battery storage innovators.
Our CEO, Alex Couzis, describes his experience from the conference:
"Our participation at Battcon allowed us to see how the latest developments in electrical energy storage are being utilized in market driven applications. The lead acid manufacturing business is evolving with new products and ideas to respond to the shifting needs of the emerging electrical energy storage markets. We gathered a great deal of information regarding these markets and were able to solidify the performance driven advantages that our product offers over the incumbent products in these growing market segments."
